Richard is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor CEPA®, working with business owners to build value at every stage and prepare for transitions that reflect both their life’s work and future goals.

Richard has previously served as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)¹ and as a continuing education instructor for CPAs through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy².

Service has always been a defining part of his life. For 12 years, Richard served as President of The 100 Club of San Antonio, supporting the children and families of fallen first responders.

His commitment to community continues today through his service on the board of the FBI San Antonio Citizens Academy Alumni Association³ and his advisory role with Concerns of Police Survivors. He and his wife, Heather, co-chair their church’s Scholarship Committee. His prior community leadership includes service with the Wade Richmond Foundation and the SA Fire Museum.

Richard’s contributions have been recognized by a Resolution from the Texas House of Representatives and the FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award in Washington, D.C.

Richard served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He and Heather have five sons—his greatest source of pride, perspective, and purpose.
