Richard A. Miller

Richard has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families bring clarity and confidence to their financial lives. As Founder and CEO of GrayChase Wealth Advisory, he built the firm on a simple belief: people make better decisions when they feel understood, supported, and fully informed. His client conversations are grounded in common sense, shaped by experience, and intentionally free from unnecessary industry jargon.

Richard’s background is both deep and diverse. During his time at Morgan Stanley, he earned the designation of Retirement Planning Specialist and an Estate Planning Consultant Certificate. He is also a Certified Senior Advisor, CSA®, helping individuals, and especially families, navigate later-life decisions with clarity and confidence, including income planning, Social Security, Medicare, financial / estate considerations, and life transitions.

Richard is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor CEPA®, working with business owners to build value at every stage and prepare for transitions that reflect both their life’s work and future goals.

Richard has previously served as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)¹ and as a continuing education instructor for CPAs through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy².

Service has always been a defining part of his life. For 12 years, Richard served as President of The 100 Club of San Antonio, supporting the children and families of fallen first responders.

His commitment to community continues today through his service on the board of the FBI San Antonio Citizens Academy Alumni Association³ and his advisory role with Concerns of Police Survivors. He and his wife, Heather, co-chair their church’s Scholarship Committee. His prior community leadership includes service with the Wade Richmond Foundation and the SA Fire Museum.

Richard’s contributions have been recognized by a Resolution from the Texas House of Representatives and the FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award in Washington, D.C.

Richard served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He and Heather have five sons—his greatest source of pride, perspective, and purpose.

He co-chairs his church's Scholarship Committee with his wife, Heather. He previously led the Wade Richmond Foundation and served on the board of the San Antonio Fire Museum.

Michelle Eastman

Michelle Eastman serves as our Client Services Liaison here at GrayChase Wealth Advisory, where she provides dependable, detail-oriented support to both clients and advisors.
Michelle brings over a decade of experience in financial services, combined with more than 20 years as a successful business owner. This unique blend gives her a practical understanding of client needs, operational discipline, and accountability.

Earlier in her career, Michelle held branch administration and compliance roles with Morgan Stanley, where she supported advisors and clients with a high level of accuracy, discretion, and professionalism. She later owned and operated the Pak Mail franchise on Broadway by Lincoln Heights for 20 years, managing financial operations, vendor relationships, and day-to-day client service—further strengthening her commitment to consistent, high-quality support.

As a small business owner, Michelle was actively involved in her community and served for many years on the board of the Alamo Heights Chamber of Commerce. She has also been actively involved in community efforts, supporting organizations such as SJRC Texas (formerly St. Jude’s Ranch for Children), which helps children and families facing abuse, neglect, or difficult circumstances find stability and support.

Michelle is known for her attention to detail, clear communication, and steady follow-through. Her approach helps ensure that client requests are handled efficiently and with care.

Outside the office, Michelle values time with family and friends, enjoys working in the yard, and takes pride in offering a helping hand to others whenever she can.

Heather Miller

Heather Miller serves as Office Manager and Special Projects Coordinator for GrayChase Advisory, where she helps ensure, operations run efficiently while supporting firm-wide initiatives and projects.

Heather brings extensive organizational and leadership experience developed through years of managing responsibilities across multiple organizations, boards, and community initiatives. A former Executive Director of Prevent Blindness, San Antonio, her background reflects a consistent commitment to structure, accountability, and follow-through—qualities that support the firm’s operational stability and client service experience.

She has held leadership and volunteer roles with a wide range of organizations, including her church, Alamo Heights Independent School District PTO/PTSO, Kurios, the San Antonio Gardenia Fine Arts Club, Lantana Garden Club, Military-Civilian Club, Military-Civilian Charitable Foundation, the Winston School Parent Association, and Friends of Hospice San Antonio.

Heather currently serves her second two-year term as Vice President of Communications for the San Antonio Gardenia Fine Arts Club and is a member of its Executive Board and Chairman of the her Church Scholarship Committee, She also serves as Communication and Outreach Coordinator for the Military-Civilian Charitable Foundation and continues to support the Military-Civilian Club in an officer role. Across these organizations, she has contributed in leadership, financial oversight, and event coordination roles.

Her prior service includes multiple board and committee leadership positions, including Treasurer of Friends of Hospice San Antonio, and various leadership roles within Alamo Heights ISD organizations—where she managed fundraising events, programs, and community outreach initiatives.

Heather is known for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate complex efforts across multiple stakeholders. Her experience allows her to bring a steady, dependable approach to both operational management and special projects at GrayChase.

Outside the office, Heather enjoys staying active in her community and contributing her time to organizations that support education, service, and local engagement and being Mom to five boys!
